Schlereth gets a spot in talk-show lineup

ormer Denver Broncos lineman
Mark Schlereth begins a full-time broadcasting career
today as co-host of Hard Core Sports (4-7 p.m.)
on KTLK-AM (760-The Zone).
Teamming with former major league umpire Bob
Davidson, Schlereth replaces another former Broncos
player, Jim Ryan, who will work part time covering
University of Colorado football and basketball and
filling in on sports shows on KTLK and KOA-AM (850).
Clear Channel Communications programming executive
Don Martin said the switch was made, "to give
Hard Core Sports an edgier talk format."
Schlereth and Davidson each signed a three-year
contract with Clear Channel late last week.
