Lauren Brill is a two-time emmy-nominated reporter and sports writer who captivates her
audience with a unique and informative style. Currently, she is a reporter, host, fill-in anchor
and color analyst for MSG Varsity, a 24-hour high school sports network that is available throughout
the tri-state area. As a reporter, Lauren writes and produces all of her features which air on both a
nightly sports highlight show as well as a weekly feature show.
Lauren's experience includes reporting and co-hosting for stations in New York, Miami and San
Francisco. In addition, Lauren has an extensive writing background, publishing hundreds of
articles and blogs on NBA.com, WNBA.com, D-League.com, NikeWomen.com,
WomensProSoccer.com and ESPN's GIRL Mag.
During Lauren's studies at Columbia University, she nurtured her interest in social injustices
and the ability of sports to ignite positive change. Throughout her tenure at Columbia, she
interviewed numerous prominent sports figures through internships at CBS Sports and WNBC
sports. In her junior year, she was hired by the NBA as a broadcast assistant to analyze NBA
broadcasts and provide improvement suggestions.
With a background in print and television and a wide range of production and reporting skills,
Lauren's versatility makes her a valuable asset to any news team.
